We are representing a well-established national Insurance team recognised for its technical excellence, client relationships and commitment to quality outcomes. The practice advises across multiple insurance lines, including construction, engineering, property, public liability and professional indemnity, acting in complex and high-value disputes.

The Role
You’ll work across a wide range of general insurance matters, including:

• Professional indemnity, public liability and personal injury claims
• Property, fire and industrial special risk matters
• Policy coverage advice and defence litigation
• Drafting detailed advices, correspondence and court documents
• Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to client relationship development

You’ll gain exposure to high-quality, complex work with the autonomy to manage files and build trusted client relationships, supported by an experienced national team.

About You
You will have at least 5 years’ post-admission experience in insurance law, with:

• Experience across general liability, property or professional indemnity claims
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act and Civil Liability Act
• Excellent organisational and client management skills
• A proactive, commercial and team-oriented mindset
• Confidence mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development
