19 Oct Staff Spotlight
What date did you join Montgomery? September 2021 (during lockdown!!!).
What is the best & worst part of the job so far? The people I work with for sure! Everyone is so friendly and supportive. I already feel so welcome. For the worst part – although there are perks to working from home, I’m keen to experience working alongside everyone in person at the Monty office.
Where did you grow up? I grew up in West Side Auckland, New Zealand.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? TV News presenter.
Who is your mentor or greatest inspiration? Definitely my mum. She’s an incredibly strong, hard-working and kind person.
What is your greatest achievement? Surviving a pandemic.
What is your favourite movie? There are so many good movies to choose from, how can you pick just one?! I think I’ll have to go with ‘Shrek’ – it’s a feel-good, funny film for the whole family with a great soundtrack.
What is your favourite board game? Articulate!
If you could be someone else for a day who would it be? (living or dead) Kylie Minogue.
Best holiday you’ve been on? I went back to visit my family in New Zealand just before the pandemic hit and that was the best holiday I’ve been on so far because I got to hug my grandparents and spend quality time with them, and eat good food. What more could you want?
What three items are a must have if you were stuck on a desert island? Sunscreen, peanut M&M’s and a ukulele.
If you won lotto what would you do? I’d blast ‘Celebration’ by Kool and the Gang, have a bit of a boogie, then spoil my close family and friends with an all-expenses paid trip to every wonderful destination I can think of.
On the other side of COVID, what will you not take for granted? Brunch.
