Laura is a Director and the Head of Private Practice Australia at Montgomery Advisory.
She has 12+ years of experience in legal search, recruitment and growing successful teams.
She began her recruiting career at global recruitment company where she was instrumental in the growth of its Australian legal arm for four years managing a successful team.
She works closely with key personnel at a range of national, international and boutique commercial law firms across Australia and has particular expertise in retained and contingent legal recruitment, talent mapping, bulk/campaign recruitment, partner placements and career counselling.
She recruits lawyers, at all levels, in almost every area of law including banking & finance, commercial, competition, construction, corporate, employment, energy & resources, environment & planning, financial services and regulatory, funds & superannuation, government/administration, information technology, insolvency, insurance, intellectual property, litigation and dispute resolution, mergers & acquisitions, native title, OH&S, projects, property, and taxation.
Outside of work, Laura is a big fan of the outdoors and enjoys swimming, hiking and running. She also has a number of triathlons under her belt! Additionally she loves to travel and explore new countries, and is partial to a great vino.
