Giving Back

Charity

Our Montgomery Advisory staff are passionate about the importance of giving back and are committed to supporting a number of charities each year.

So far we have worked with a number of organisations including:

  • RSPCA – The team spent the day at the Yagoona RSPCA Shelter helping out with maintenance and upkeep tasks around the shelter. Most importantly, we got to provide some invaluable one-on-one human interaction to RSPCA shelter animals.
  • Movember – Most recently, the boys got to show off their hair-raising stashes and the girls got together each morning to complete 100 squats! As a team, we have managed to raise over $3000 for the Movember foundation.
  • Indigenous Marathon Foundation – The sporty ones of the group represent Montgomery in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge Series.
  • Darkness into Light walk for Pieta House – Kicking off at 5am on a cold and wet may morning, Laura completed a 5km walk to raise funds for suicide awareness.
  • MS Gong Ride – Later in the year, Laura took part in the Gong ride and cycled a whopping 82kms from Sydney to Wollongong to raise funds for MS.
  • Will2Live – Our team joined forces with Will2Live, gathering together in Central’s Belmore Park to put on a BBQ breakfast & lunch for the homeless. Notably, we listened to stories from those living in the park and discovered just how impactful the Will2live charity is, creating a sense of home within the homeless community.
