We’re proud to announce that Montgomery’s UK office has formally partnered with Ashurst on a new Diversity & Inclusion initiative, designed to level the playing field for candidates from all backgrounds.

We are one of eight recruitment firms across the UK who have pledged a commitment to the initiative, which aims to ensure candidate representation of the widest talent pools, including but not limited to social mobility, gender, disability and LGBTIQ+.  This will be measured by:

  • Shortlisting and introducing a diverse talent pool.
  • Annual analysis and reporting to provide clarity of diversity in the market.
  • Promoting transparency throughout the recruitment process by way of open and honest communication to ensure accountability on both law firms and recruiters.

Our UK Associate Director, Glenn Johnson said “Diversity and inclusion in recruitment is something [that Montgomery] is already focused on, but which we can continue to do more to improve.  It is our firm belief that every candidate should have the opportunity to reach the very top of their profession, and as such, it was a no-brainer to partner with a firm of Ashurst’s standing on such an important issue”.
