As an upshot of growth within their Real Estate practice, they are now looking for a Lawyer with experience in Agribusiness and/or broad commercial property law experience to join their market leading practice in Brisbane.Team & Position Description
This role will see you working alongside an industry-leading practitioner within a close-knit team environment.
They advise clients in Australia and overseas including agribusinesses, foreign investors based across the Asia Pacific and Americas, primary producers and other stakeholders on some of the largest and most complex projects in Australia.
You will work on a range of exciting agricultural property transactions and projects across all Australian States, including acquisitions and disposals of farmland and water rights in the cotton, berry, dairy, livestock, permanent row cropping, wheat and other industries.
You will also be involved in drafting and negotiating a range of agreements (including Agistment agreements, Conduct and Compensation agreements and Dairy Share Farm agreements) as well as project managing extensive legal due diligence processes and reporting.Requirements
You will be a lawyer at the 2 to 5 year level
with experience in agribusiness property law transactions, or excellent commercial real estate experience from a reputable practice and a strong interest in specialising in agribusiness law.
