Position Description
  
This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional senior level lawyer with broad employment and industrial relations experience to be part of a growing team within a market-leading practice.
  
You will work closely with a pre-eminent partner and gain exposure to all facets of contentious and non-contentious Employment Law matters, including complex industrial relations work, matters involving trade unions and work councils, complex transactions and restructurings, board-room matters, work health & safety maters, and other strategic issues.
  
You will gain exposure to clients in a range of industries including banking and finance, aviation, manufacturing, construction, retail, transport, mining, energy, charities, and the public sector.
  
Position Requirements
  
The ideal candidate will be at the Senior Associate or Special Counsel level (with between 5 and 10 years' PAE) with Industrial Relations/Enterprise Bargaining experience gained at a reputable national and or international firm.
  
You will also:
  • have strong academics;
  • have advanced analytical and problem solving skills;
  • be comfortable working with a high level of autonomy;
  • have a keen desire to take on an instrumental role in building up the profile of the practice.
