The Litigation team is led by six partners who all have leading reputations in the industry.
They provide a full complement of litigation and dispute resolution services across areas including administrative, construction, contractual, defamation, employment, estate, insolvency and debt recovery, insurance, intellectual property and property.
In addition to working in the full range of tribunal and court jurisdictions, they are also active in commissions and inquiries.Position Description
This is a growth role and will see you working closely with a partner and a senior associate yet having exposure to the broader Litigation team.
The role will focus on a broad range of health, medical negligence and administrative law matters including:
- Medical negligence litigation in the Supreme and District Courts of New South Wales.
- Disciplinary inquiries and prosecutions before NCAT.
- Inquests and public inquiries.
- Intentional torts.
- Judicial review and administrative law matters.
You will be an enthusiastic and competent insurance lawyer with 1 to 3 years'
solid health or medical negligence experience.
