The Team
  
This Banking and Finance team is recognised for its expertise in handling high-profile transactions for a broad spectrum of clients, including banks, credit funds, private equity houses, and institutional investors. The team provides comprehensive legal solutions across a wide range of finance matters, from domestic transactions to complex, multi-jurisdictional deals. Their approach combines deep technical knowledge with commercial awareness, allowing them to consistently deliver innovative and practical solutions to their clients' financial needs.
The team operates at the forefront of banking and finance law, offering trusted advice on a wide variety of financial products, including real estate finance, fund financing, leveraged finance, and restructurings.
  
The Role
  
The successful candidate will advise clients on a diverse range of banking and finance transactions. You will be involved in drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex finance agreements, working on matters such as acquisition finance, real estate finance, asset-backed lending, and general corporate finance. The role also offers significant exposure to high-value cross-border transactions, working alongside experienced professionals across multiple jurisdictions.
  
Key Responsibilities
  
  • Advising clients on a range of banking and finance matters, including secured and unsecured lending, leveraged finance, and real estate finance
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex finance documentation
  • Managing multi-jurisdictional transactions, providing strategic advice and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Collaborating with colleagues across various teams to deliver seamless legal services on cross-border deals
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering commercial solutions to address their banking and finance needs
  
Key Requirements
  
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 PQE in a leading banking and finance practice. The successful applicant should demonstrate:
  
  • Solid experience in banking and finance law, including transactional work
  • Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and a commercial mindset
  • The ability to work effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
  • Experience managing complex cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional matters
  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal advice
  
Candidates MUST be a qualified solicitor, ideally qualified in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
