The Environment and Planning team of this national law firm is one of the largest in Australia. They advise clients on the full spectrum of Environment and Planning matters across a range of industries.
  
In particular, the team provide assistance with major projects, pollution, renewable energy, all Environment and Planning related legislation, appearances in all relevant courts and tribunals, and subdivision issues to name a few.
  
Clients include local, state and federal governments as well as leading private sector corporations and developers.
  
Position Description
  
The Sydney office of this national law firm is now looking to recruit a Senior Associate into their busy team to work with a highly-regarded practitioner in this space.
  
You will become part of a close-knit, collaborative team, engaging in a variety of matters, including:

• Land and Environment Court litigation
• Advising on planning issues, environmental compliance, and contamination
• Drafting planning and works-in-kind agreements

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a prestigious national firm and gain exposure across an interesting mix of work.
  
Requirements
  
The successful candidate will be at Senior Associate level with at least 6+ years PAE from another reputable Environment and Planning practice.
  
In addition, you will:

• have superior drafting abilities;
• have strong communication and negotiation skills;
• have a client-orientated approach and commitment to developing strong client relationships;
• have ability to mentor junior lawyers and sustain a supportive team dynamic; and
• have a commercial approach to your work.
