The Team

Our client's insurance practice group is recognised as one of the leading insurance teams in Australia. The group regularly represents insurers and reinsurers in a broad range of insurance law matters including class actions, directors' and officers' liability, professional indemnity, property and industrial special risks (ISR), and product and public liability. 

The Role

They are looking for a Solicitor/Associate for their high performing Sydney insurance team.

This role will see you work closely with a leading partner on an interesting and broad mix of general insurance matters, public liability claims and historical abuse claims. You will gain experience with investigating claims, briefing experts and Counsel and you will gain experience with the NSW Courts and hearing process.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 4 years’ experience in general insurance work from a regarded firm. You will also need:

• Experience in injury claims (non-statutory)
• Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines 
• Excellent communication skills
• A desire to develop your career and professional networks in the Insurance industry
