The Team
The team is is able to provide advice across the full spectrum of share plans and incentives and is often sought after to handle the share scheme aspects of major M&A and rights insurances. They routinely deploy novel, multi-disciplinary strategic analysis to achieve client's objectives and work with clients, industry bodies and government organisations to shape the direction and content of future legislation.
They are dedicated to advancing best practices in employment and invest significant time and resources in training their lawyers to ensure their clients receive the most practical, and reliable advice.
The Role
The successful candidate will build a solid foundation of commercial and legal expertise within a chosen area of law and strengthen relationships with clients, frequently acting as a direct point of contact.
Key areas of responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Advising on restructuring programmes, employment contracts, HR policies, diversity initiatives in addition to general employee relations and employment related cases.
- Managing employment tribunal claims in addition to corresponding litigation and mediation.
- Managing client expectations and project delivery appropriately.
- Business development - development of personal plan; assistance with and implementation of business development campaign.
- Drafting, reviewing and amending documentation.
Key Requirements The successful candidate will have
1+ PQE, with the eagerness to learn and improve.
They will ideally also have:
- Deep technical knowledge with regards to employment law.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- Intellectual curiosity and versatility.
- Self starter with the desire and ability to continuously acquire, build upon and share knowledge.
- Detail-focused and self-motivated approach.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions and advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates MUST be a qualified solicitor.
