Our client’s Real Estate Team is highly regarded. The team acts for a broad range of blue-chip clients from private investors to high-profile institutional investors and property developers.

The Team

The team offers a global network of lawyers who are equipped to handle all types of real estate transactions, and as a result, they have longstanding client relationships. They handle the entire property 'life-cycle' from the initial acquisition, development, leasing, joint venturing and financing through the final exit.

The Role
 
The role will be seeing you work for both front end and back end Real Estate matters. This may include (but not limited to) managing capital transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of development sites, along with overseeing commercial, industrial, and retail assets. . In addition, you will work effectively with clients on their matters end-to-end and manage client expectations and deliverables with minimal supervision and the full support of the team when required.
 
In the contentious aspect of the role, the successful candidate will be seen handling disputes between parties involved in real estate transactions, and handle disagreements arising from real estate contracts, including issues related to purchase agreements, lease agreements, construction contracts, and other legal documents.
 
Key Requirements
 
The successful candidate will have sound practical experience on an associate level and strong interpersonal skills are also desirable traits.

Our client will consider those who are more specialised looking to broaden skill set and very much open to Associates from Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, you will have:

  • a strong grasp of key principles relating to Real Estate as well as a demonstrated commercial acumen;
  • strong transactional experience;
  • outstanding academic credentials; and
  • excellent client relationship skills.
Candidates MUST be a qualified solicitor.
