The Team
Our client’s London Competition team is highly innovative, with an adaptive and integrated practice approach in its European office. The team covers antitrust competition and trade cases that are high value and complex. They frequent international courts, driving commercial solutions across the complete spectrum of competition cases.
The Role The role is highly sought after as it provides not only a competitive salary, but also mentorship.
The position offers a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious duties, including advising clients, drafting and negotiating contractual documents, and submitting submissions to court authorities. In particular, the role will focus on competition and antitrust litigation, including acting on competition damages cases, and coordinating litigation across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Requirements The successful candidate will have substantial experience working as a lawyer on an
associate level within a reputable competition practice, and may preferably have a strong academic record.
Our client will consider those who are more specialised looking to broaden skill set and very much open to Associates from Australia and New Zealand.
In addition, you will ideally have:
- proven experience in antitrust;
- a mixture of contentious and non-contentious exposure;
- the ability to demonstrate a strong ability to draft and advise in relation to complex transactions;
- strong attention to detail; and
- knowledge of the law and excellent communication skills.
