Our client’s Real Estate Finance department is highly reputable. This is a great opportunity to work closely with clients under the supervision of the well-respected senior partners.

The Team

The team is cutting edge and delivers a wide range of clients in the US and European commercial and investment banks, debt providers, funds, real estate investors, and developers. Their multidisciplinary approach, breadth of experience and unique geographic platform makes them especially well-placed to deal with a variety of matters. 

The Role
 
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a range of high-profile and highly complex domestic, cross-border and multi-jurisdictional work, as well as work with other teams within the firm such as corporate, banking, and real estate. The focus will predominantly be providing support on drafting and negotiating. This may include term sheets and facilities agreements to make sure the process throughout the whole transaction is smooth.
 
Key Requirements
 
The ideal candidate will have come from a highly respected firm; will have a broad range of Real Estate Finance experience on an associate level; and who enjoys working in a fast paced and collaborative working environment.

Our client will consider those who are more specialised looking to broaden skill set and very much open to Associates from Australia and New Zealand.
 
You will also have: 
  • Solid commercial acumen.
  • Strong academics.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build solid working relationships.
  • Well-developed collaborative and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a wide range of real estate finance work.
  • Trained and qualified with a reputable law firm.
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
