Our client’s Projects & Infrastructure department is highly regarded as they advise elite institutions, sponsors, investors, and asset managers.

The Team

The Projects & Infrastructure team is established and market leading in the region – working on cross-border transactions in a variety of sectors including power generation and distribution, toll roads, ports, mass transit, airports and aviation. Their breadth of experience enables them to anticipate issues that may arise during a project's conceptualisation through ultimate delivery, and assist in finding and implementing creative and constructive solutions.

The Role

The London office of this law firm is looking for an associate to join their team. The role will see you working closely with the team on a range of high-quality transactional matters.
 
The ideal candidate must have a keen understanding of the market drivers, dynamics, and risks of infrastructure projects.

Key duties may include (but not limited to):
  • leading, in collaboration with the team's Partners, on the procurement and delivery of a range of innovative projects.
  • being part of a team that is tracking and keeping up-to-date with a dynamic regulatory environment.
  • continually developing deep and long-standing relationships with a range of public and private sector clients
Key Requirements
 
The successful candidate will have substantial experience working as a lawyer on an associate level within a reputable Projects & Infrastructure practice, and may preferably have a strong academic record.
 
Our client will consider those who are more specialised looking to broaden skill set and very much open to Associates from Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, they will ideally have:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (written and oral).
  • The ability to collaborate and work well with others in a team.
  • Superb legal drafting and verbal reasoning skills.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
  • High motivation and good organisation skills.
Candidates MUST be a qualified solicitor.
