Our client is one of Australia's largest commercial law firms.
The Sydney office is now looking to recruit a Senior Associate for their Employment & Safety team.
Workplace Relations & Safety
The nationally integrated team provides the full range of workplace relations and employment law services and advises a range of large corporates and financial institutions, in addition to a number of government entities.
In Sydney, the team is headed by four partners, and includes a number of senior level lawyers.
Position Description
This role will see you working closely with two partners and other senior members within the practice.
You will provide advice across:
Requirements
The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of post-admission experience, ideally focused on employment law and workplace relations.
In addition, you will have strong interpersonal and client liaison skills and an ability to operate independently when required.

- employment litigation, including industrial action and dispute resolution;
- workplace strategy, in particular the implementation of change, restructuring and enterprise bargaining;
- employment and IR aspects of corporate deals;
- general employment law including unfair dismissal, discrimination, bullying, employment contracts and termination of employment; and
- workplace compliance and governance, including the development of policies and procedures, and training.
Requirements
