The Team  
 
The insurance team nationally handles claims across every line of insurance and reinsurance business. The team’s experience enables an unequalled ability to advise in relation to the complex multi-jurisdictional disputes that arise so often in the insurance sector.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with market-leading partners and the wider team in Brisbane.

The Role

They are seeking a Solicitor with between 2 and 3 years PAE and a Senior Associate with at least 5 years PAE to join the busy team. 

You will be working directly with highly respected partners, as well as working with the wider insurance team.

These roles will see you providing advice primarily on professional indemnity, liability, quantum and third party contribution matters.

Requirements

The successful candidates will have have general insurance experience from a reputable law firm. 

In addition, you will:

• have experience advising insurers in relation to policy coverage and indemnity disputes, including liability, quantum and third party contribution;
• have experiencing managing a robust workload, including prioritising work and effective service delivery;
• have the ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals; and
• have effective communication with stakeholders on client operations and strategy.
