The Team  

Our client's funds and private equity team is run by a highly regarded partner. The team advises clients on a range of funds and private equity transactions such as financial services and fund investment, including wealth funds and advising asset managers. 

You will have the opportunity to work alongside a premier partner in the industry, as well as a range of lawyers at other levels. 

The Role  

Our client has a unique opportunity for an Associate, Senior Associate OR Special Counsel to join their private equity & funds team in Sydney. You will have a range of responsibilities, including: 

• Advising on financial services law for fund managers; 
• Assisting with the establishment of funds and regulatory & licensing compliance; 
• Drafting key documents; 
• Drafting complex documents in relation to investments and fund establishment; 
• Building and maintaining client relationships; 

Requirements  

Due to growth in the team, our client is looking to add an experienced funds/private equity lawyer with between 3 and 10 years' Post Admission Experience. In addition to:

• Excellent drafting and communication skills; 
• Demonstrated client facing experience; 
• The ability to handle working in a dynamic team environment; 
• A willingness to get involved in marketing and business development.
