The Team
The Banking & Finance team are well-known for their expertise in diverse banking and restructuring areas, handling complex transactions globally for top borrowers, lenders, and sponsors, including bilateral and syndicated lending, acquisition finance, debt capital markets, asset-based lending, project finance, derivatives, and capital markets financing.
The Role
They are looking for a talented
Lawyer to join their busy Melbourne team. As the Banking & Finance practice work across offices, the firm are open to hiring Melbourne or Sydney based candidates.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with respected partners and the wider Banking & Finance team to work on diverse debt financing arrangements. Your role will cover a broad range of transactions in Australia and across the APAC region, including large-scale corporate debt programs and major deals in corporate, energy, infrastructure, and real estate sectors.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have between
3-5 years of post admission experience in banking & finance law from a reputable law firm.
Additionally, you will have:
- Experience covering real estate finance, corporate finance, acquisition finance, asset finance and/or project finance
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high performing team
