Our client, a leading global firm, is expanding its Employment Law practice in Sydney and is looking to add a talented lawyer to the team as part of its continued growth.
About the role
In this role, you’ll work across a broad range of employment matters, including work health and safety, industrial relations, and discrimination law. There is a strong emphasis on work health and safety, particularly within the energy and resources sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with post-incident response, including managing immediate legal risks and providing strategic guidance
- Acting in regulator investigations, prosecutions, and coronial inquests, with a focus on minimising reputational and legal exposure
- Advising on work health and safety compliance, including conducting risk assessments, policy reviews, and workplace audits
- Delivering tailored work health and safety training, particularly for senior leaders and officers, to ensure understanding of legal duties and best practices
About you
You will have 3+ years PAE and substantial experience with employment and industrial relations matters.
