The Banking Litigation Team 

The esteemed Sydney Litigation practice is seeking an associate to become part of their banking litigation and insolvency team. The position presents a distinctive opportunity to collaborate closely with partners on an array of stimulating cases. The work will encompass secured recoveries, disputes not related to lending losses, and intricate insolvency matters.


The Role

This position offers independent work on specific issues alongside collaboration on significant disputes.  Involving State, Federal, and appellate courts, the role serves a national client base, providing opportunities to work with colleagues nationwide. You will handle high-level cases and interact with a distinguished national clientele.

Responsibilities

• working with banks, lenders & insolvency practitioners
• lending loss & non lending loss
• work on a range of insolvency matter, both advisory & litigious

To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have

• 3-5 years PAE
• strategic and critical thinking capabilities
• strong leadership skills to assist in developing our junior cohort
• strong practice management and attention to detail
