Associate or Senior Associate, Real Estate Lawyer
We work closely with the Sydney office of a major international firm who for leading companies, financial institutions and governments worldwide.
They currently have an opportunity within their very impressive Real Estate practice.
Position Description
This leading Real Estate team assists clients both locally and internationally manage significant real estate investment portfolios.
The team assists real estate fund managers, private equity investors, hotel management companies, public and private sector clients (including high net worth clients), project financiers, developers and property trusts doing business across Australia and in offshore markets.
The practice has also built a reputation for helping large corporations and luxury brands meet their real estate needs by successfully negotiating commercial agreements for lease, leases and other arrangements to assist them in meeting their specialised accommodation and facility requirements as well as developing outsourcing solutions.

An essential component of this role that differentiates it from so many others is the team dynamic. Headed by three highly engaged partners, you'll find an extremely welcoming and supportive culture. The team is busy and high performing but understands that its members each have different needs and ways of working. With a completely open feedback loop (that travels both ways) there will never be a time when you left in a corner wondering what steps you can be taking to develop your experience and accelerate your learning.
Main duties
The successful candidate will likely have between 2 and 7 years' PAE experience from a well-regarded property practice. Ideally you will have exposure to complex major transactions and be comfortable negotiating commercial and retail leases.
