Construction Disputes Team
Based in Sydney, this market-leading practice works closely with colleagues across the Asia-Pacific region on cross-national and cross-border disputes. The team provides end-to-end dispute management advice, from early issue identification to resolution, and has extensive experience handling major project litigation in the resources and infrastructure sectors.

Position Description
In this role, you will manage a range of complex construction disputes, involving drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation, managing court and arbitration processes, liaising with clients and counterparties, and providing strategic advice. You will also be encouraged to engage in business development initiatives, contribute to training and know-how, and mentor junior team members.
Key Requirements
You will be a construction litigation lawyer or senior associate with 2–7+ years’ post-admission experience, ideally gained in a top-tier firm or through a combination of top-tier and in-house roles. You will bring: - Experience managing construction and project litigation, preferably in the resources and infrastructure sectors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior drafting ability and strong commercial judgment
- A collaborative and proactive approach to matter management
- The ability to mentor juniors while working independently
- Enthusiasm for client engagement and business development
