Projects Disputes Team

Based in Brisbane, the team works closely with national and international colleagues to deliver strategic advice and dispute resolution services on major infrastructure and construction matters. Position Description

In this role, you will:
  • Advise on and manage complex disputes arising from construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects, including arbitration and litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, expert reports, settlement agreements, and other dispute resolution documents.
  • Liaise with clients, experts, and other advisers to develop and implement dispute strategy.
  • Support senior lawyers in case management and lead junior team members.
  • Contribute to business development, client engagement, and team knowledge-sharing activities.

Key Requirements

You will be a Lawyer or Associate with:
  • 2–4 years’ post-admission experience in commercial litigation, projects disputes, or infrastructure-related contentious matters.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills.
  • An interest in building or expanding expertise in construction and infrastructure disputes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters and work effectively within a team.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach and enthusiasm for mentoring and professional growth.
