A leading, independent law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Disputes & Investigations team in Sydney or Melbourne. The Team

You will join a dynamic Disputes & Investigations team with a diverse portfolio of clients and matters. The team is recognised for its commercial and pragmatic approach to disputes, operating across industries and jurisdictions. The environment is supportive and collegial, offering exposure to senior lawyers and opportunities to mentor junior team members.
  
Position Description

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage a range of contentious matters, providing practical and commercially focused legal advice
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff
• Work collaboratively across offices, managing client expectations and developing relationships
• Contribute to the growth of the practice through proactive engagement and business development initiatives

About You

• Senior Associate level with strong post-admission experience
• Proven ability to work autonomously while thriving in a team environment
• Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commercially minded, with the ability to provide pragmatic solutions to complex matters
• Demonstrated experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to a collaborative team culture
