The Role
 
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a leading Environment & Planning team within a major commercial practice. The role offers exposure to high-impact work across Australia’s renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, contributing to advisory, transactional, and strategic litigation matters.

You’ll advise clients across a diverse range of industries on environmental approvals, planning and contamination, climate and sustainability risk, and broader environmental regulation. The team operates nationally and is known for its strong technical expertise and collaborative culture.

About You
 
The ideal candidate will have:

• 1–4 years’ post-admission experience in environment, planning or major projects law
• Strong analytical and drafting skills, with a commercial and pragmatic approach
• Exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or development-related matters (preferred)
• A collaborative mindset and passion for sustainability and environmental law
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a dynamic team environment
