The team is known for its technical excellence, commercial acumen, and depth of expertise across trademarks, copyright, patents and broader brand protection strategies.

The Role
You’ll work across a diverse range of commercial IP and trademark matters, including:

• Trademark, design, and domain name clearance, prosecution and enforcement
• IP aspects of commercial agreements and licensing
• IP and IT due diligence for corporate transactions
• Brand management, strategy and enforcement advice for major local and international clients

You’ll gain hands-on experience advising on complex cross-border matters, with exposure to litigation, brand strategy, and regulatory issues across a wide range of sectors including consumer goods, technology, media, energy and more.

About You
You will have 4+ years’ post-admission experience in intellectual property and trademarks, with:

• Strong experience in trade mark prosecution, portfolio management and brand enforcement
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills
• A commercial mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
• A proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative approach

You’ll thrive in a high-performing environment that values initiative, precision and strategic thinking, working alongside experienced practitioners on some of the most significant IP matters in Australia.
