- Senior Legal Counsel based in Canberra required to fill an urgent contract from mid-December 2025 to end-March 2026.
- Experience required in administrative decision-making, statutory interpretation, regulatory frameworks, enforcement matters and internal governance.
- The role is ideally based on-site in Canberra - remote working considered for suitable candidates.
- Minimum 4+ years post-admission experience. More experience is highly regarded.
- Previous government in-house experience highly regarded.
- Familiarity with the Legal Services Directions 2017 is desirable.
- Strong skills in administrative law, regulatory decision-making and statutory interpretation.
- Ability to manage complex matters independently and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
- Full-time preferred, but part-time or job-share arrangements considered.
- Commencement contingent on lodging security clearance paperwork.
