The Opportunity

You will manage a high-volume workers’ compensation practice, delivering end-to-end legal services to injured workers while maintaining strong client relationships and achieving timely claim outcomes.
You will be expected to:
- Independently manage a portfolio of 100+ workers’ compensation files
- Conduct comprehensive case assessments, including liability and strategy.
- Lodge claims and manage matters from inception to resolution
- Ongoing file monitoring, compliance with statutory timeframes, and proactive claim management.
- Draft and review legal correspondence, applications, and settlement documentation.
- Prepare and manage matters before the Personal Injury Commission (PIC).
- Liaise with clients, insurers, medical providers, barristers, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate settlements and provide clear legal advice to clients throughout the claim lifecycle.
- 2–6 years’ post-admission experience in workers’ compensation / personal injury.
- Proven ability to manage a large, autonomous file load.
- Strong knowledge of NSW workers’ compensation legislation and procedures.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
