Our client is a leading national firm who is currently looking for a Senior Associate to join their growing Restructuring and Insolvency practice in Sydney.

The role

Join a highly regarded insolvency team advising on complex corporate workouts, reconstructions, and insolvency matters. You’ll work with creditors, administrators, and receivers across Australia and internationally, gaining exposure to high-profile and high-value cases.

This is a chance to develop your expertise in a top-tier practice, with opportunities to work on challenging and high-impact matters.

The role involves: 

• Leading and managing high-value, high-profile matters from start to finish.
• Providing practical, commercial legal advice tailored to client needs.
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers on the team.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

About you 

You will have 7-9+ years post admission experience in a busy Restructuring & Insolvency team. 

Additionally, you will have:

• Strong technical expertise.
• Commercial, client focused approach. 
• Thrive under press and work well in teams. 
• Excellent communication and can communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• A collaborative, positive, and energetic approach to your work.
