Our client, a global professional services provider, is seeking an employment lawyer to help their dynamic national team with their busy workload. Our client works across industries including finance, technology, energy and health. You will work with leading teams and and have the opportunity to engage with new technologies.

The role

Your role will include:

• Assisting on complex conduct and workplace investigations.
• Assisting the team with employee disputes, including managing external counsel. 
• Building strong and trusted relationships with internal clients.
• Collaborating with, and supporting other corporate functions.   

Requirements

The successful candidate will be an Australian qualified lawyer with at least 5 years' employment law experience, gained in private practice and/or in-house. In addition, the successful candidate will have:

• confidence in advising senior management with clear and concise advice;
• ability to identify and consider critical issues and articulate legal and reputational risks to support decisions;
• strong interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to form strong relationships;
• experience with modern awards, whistle blower matters and regulator engagement; and
• experience working within a formal governance framework.
