The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Sydney office. Lawyers in this group work across a broad range of matters including large scale commercial restructurings, formal insolvencies and complex cross border engagements.
The team acts for a sophisticated client base including major banks, corporates, investment banks, fund managers and professional trustees. You will gain exposure to significant matters while working closely with experienced practitioners in a supportive and collaborative environment.

- Advising on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including cross border engagements
- Drafting advices, preparing court documents and assisting with hearings
- Working with a high profile client base and assisting with negotiations
- Supporting business development and client relationship initiatives
- Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers within the team
- Contributing to broader firm initiatives including pro bono and community activities
About you
- 3+ years’ PAE from a reputable Restructuring & Insolvency or Commercial Litigation practice
- Experience working on complex restructuring, insolvency or distressed situations
- Strong analytical, technical and drafting skills
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative and driven approach with strong academic credentials
