Working as part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will gain exposure to a broad mix of front-end and back-end competition and consumer matters. The role offers strong mentorship from experienced senior practitioners, as well as genuine responsibility and day-to-day carriage of matters.
The practice advises a diverse client base, including large domestic and international organisations, across areas such as competition advisory, competition litigation, consumer law disputes, regulatory investigations, marketing and advertising clearance, general commercial litigation, and class actions.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and assist on a range of competition and consumer law matters
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, applications and other court documents
- Brief and liaise with counsel
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, concise advice
- Support senior lawyers on complex matters and client deliverables
- Maintain and build strong client relationships
About You:
3–8 years’ PQE with relevant competition experience. They are also open to candidates with strong litigation experience and a genuine interest in competition law.
- Strong drafting and technical legal skills
- Experience across litigation processes and court procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic
