The role - Leading and advising on compliance and risk
- Managing case load
- Collaborating with and supporting corporate functions
- Building trusted and strong relationships with internal clients
Key responsibilities - Assist on a range of regulatory and compliance matters in the financial services sector
- Brief and liaise with counsel
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, concise advice
- Support senior lawyers on complex matters and deliverables
- Maintain and build strong client relationships
About you You will be at least
5 - 10 years' PQE with relevant in-house regulatory and compliance experience. Desirable is strong litigation experience. You will have:
- Strong drafting and technical legal skills
- Experience across regulatory, compliance and litigation processes
- Experience in advising senior management with clear and concise advice
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic
- Experience working within a formal governance framework
