We are working on a role with a rapidly expanding data centre operator. The company is known for using 100% renewable energy to power its data centres. They are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with construction and procurement experience. This will involve negotiating EPC contracts for the building of their data centres, project work advising on claims from projects and negotiating MSAs/procurement contracts.
 
The Role

This role will report to the Head of Legal and work as part of a wider in-house legal team.  You will be a hands on and trusted advisor for:

• drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of contracts and associated documents;
• completion of new projects and transactions including the full lifecycle of projects;
• managing and advising on risk;
• liaising closely with senior stakeholders; and
• briefing external counsel where required.

About You

• 8+ years PAE lawyer;
• major law firm experience, in-house experience highly desirable;
• experience in front-end construction law, including drafting and negotiating EPC and D+C contracts;
• transaction experience and exposure to project delivery issues; and 
• an ability to work in a fast paced and high performing environment.
