We are working with a significant NSW organisation seeking a senior level Environment and Planning lawyer for an initial 6 month period, with the potential for this contract to be extended.

Requirements

You will be an experienced environment and planning lawyer with at least 5+ years PAE. 

You will be providing legal support on environmental & planning law, compulsory acquisitions, contaminated land and native title. This will be on large scale infrastructure projects, planning instruments, disputes in the Land & Environment Court, pollution, impact statements, community and stakeholder engagement projects.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Excellent communication and management skills
• Experience in Environment and Planning Law
• Experience in a reputable private practice or in-house environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• A problem-solving and commercial mindset
• The ability to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing outstanding client service.
