Debt Finance

In Sydney, the Debt Finance team is led by two experienced partners with additional lawyers of varying levels making up the rest of the team.

The team is renowned for providing commercial solutions on some of Australia's largest and most complex finance deals. 

Position Description

This role will see you working on a range of corporate, leveraged and real estate finance deals. You will advise on transactions from complex, high‑profile multi‑jurisdictional deals, including bilateral, club and large syndicated facilities to mid‑market domestic financings.

The team and firm has an excellent culture which is exemplified by the partners' calm and relaxed nature. 

Key requirements

You will be a finance solicitor with 1 to 4 years' solid experience from a reputable practice. You will have excellent interpersonal and client liaison skills and enjoy being part of a team.

In addition, you will have:

• A developing professional profile and an ability to develop an internal network beyond the practice group
• A willingness to work autonomously on smaller, less complex matters whilst being a team player on larger, more complex matters
• An ability to consistently present a positive image of self, the team and the firm.
