Senior Legal Counsel - Employment law - Contract role
The opportunity
Our client is a well regarded firm, who is leading in their field. They are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with strong Employment Law and IR experience on an initial contract term. You will be responsible for providing legal support to the business on a range of employment and IR matters. You will also undertake the following:

You will be responsible for providing legal support to the business on a range of employment and IR matters. You will also undertake the following:
- Assisting on disputes and litigation
- Providing general employee relations advice
- Developing and carrying out negotiation and bargaining strategies
- Reviewing and interpreting industrial instruments
- Assisting with developing and implementing relevant management plans, policies or procedures.
Requirements
You will need to hold legal qualifications and have at least 5 + years PAE. In addition, you will need to have:

- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills and be able to provide high-quality and timely advice
- Ability to build and foster strong relationships
- Strong litigation experience
