The Role
  
The successful candidate will provide strategic and commercial advice in respect of large scale and complex projects.

Requirements
  
The successful candidate will have between 5 and 10 years' post admission experience, having gained experience in disputes. Ideally you will have worked in either a reputable firm or in-house legal team. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active employee with strong communication skills who is keen to be part of a busy and dynamic in-house team. The role will involve:

• disputes and litigation;
• regulatory investigations and inquiries;
• claims prevention;
• post-completion design and construction claims;
• board and stakeholder reporting; and
• the procurement and management of external legal advisors.

In addition you will have:

• excellent written and oral communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to successfully engage, negotiate and deal tactfully and effectively with people in challenging circumstances;
• a strong corporate acumen;
• risk assessment and risk mitigation skills;
• an ability and desire to work as part of a team; and
• a proven ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
