We represent a National Commercial Law Firm who is looking for a Senior Associate to join their busy Litigation team.

The role
You will be involved in matters spanning corporations and shareholder disputes, franchising, consumer law (ACL) claims, property disputes, and building and construction matters. The role offers strong autonomy, early responsibility, and exposure to high-calibre clients across a national platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Running and assisting on complex commercial litigation matters
• Drafting court documents, pleadings, advices, and correspondence
• Engaging in strategy development and dispute resolution planning
• Appearing in court and managing procedural steps where appropriate
• Working directly with partners on client management and matter strategy
• Contributing to alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation

About you:

• 5+ years PAE with experience in commercial litigation and/or insolvency
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills
• Commercial mindset with a practical approach to problem solving
• Experience managing or assisting on complex disputes
• Confident working in a lean team with ownership of matters and strategy input
• Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable in a high-performance environment
