The Sydney office is looking to recruit a passionate Lawyer for their Employment & Workplace team.
Team The nationally integrated team provides the full range of workplace relations and employment law services and advises a range of large corporates and financial institutions, in addition to a number of government entities.
In Sydney, the team is headed by five partners, and includes a number of senior level lawyers.
Position Description This role will see you working closely with multiple partners and other senior members within the practice, while collaborating with peers across other offices.
You will provide advice across:
- employment litigation, including industrial action and dispute resolution;
- workplace strategy, in particular the implementation of change, restructuring and enterprise bargaining;
- employment and IR aspects of corporate deals;
- general employment law including unfair dismissal, discrimination, bullying, employment contracts and termination of employment; and
- workplace compliance and governance, including the development of policies and procedures, and training.

Requirements The successful candidate will have between
2 and 5 years of post-admission experience, ideally across a broad range of employment law and workplace relations matters.
In addition, you will have strong interpersonal and client liaison skills and an ability to operate independently when required.
