Litigation & Dispute Resolution

The Brisbane Litigation & Dispute Resolution team is regarded as one of Australia's leading practices and includes some of the brightest and most-respected practitioners.

They cover the full gamut of disputes including contractual disputes, directors' duties', shareholder disputes, defamation, regulatory investigations, Royal Commissions, and white collar crime.

The team are regularly acknowledged as leaders in their field by independent legal directories.
 
Position Description 

This role will see you practising in all spheres of commercial dispute resolution, working closely with a number of partners. 

Whilst the experience you will gain in this role will be broad, there will be a focus on corporate and commercial disputes.

You will gain exposure to the following types of matters: 
  • contractual disputes
  • misleading and deceptive conduct
  • shareholder disputes
  • directors' duties'
  • regulatory investigations (ASIC and ACCC).
This is a great opportunity for a driven and talented senior commercial litigation lawyer to continue developing their legal skills, and excel in a friendly and cohesive team. 

Requirements 

You will be a lawyer with three to eight years' experience in commercial litigation.  Ideally, you will have experience acting across a broad range of litigious matters, including corporate and regulatory litigation.

In addition, you will:
  • have strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
  • be looking to continue building your own professional profile.
