Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit an Associate to join its growing Corporate team in Sydney.
  
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of M&A, equity capital markets and corporate advisory matters, acting for Australian and international clients across a variety of industries. You will gain exposure to sophisticated transactions while working within a collaborative team that offers genuine mentoring and long-term career progression.
  
The Role
  
You will advise on a broad range of corporate transactions, including:

• Public and private mergers and acquisitions
• Equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs and secondary capital raisings
• Corporate restructures and reorganisations
• Corporate governance and regulatory advisory
• ASX Listing Rules and Corporations Act compliance
• General commercial and strategic corporate advisory work

This role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners on complex and high-profile transactions.
  
About You
  
You will have:

• 3–5 years' post-admission experience in Corporate law
• Strong experience in M&A and Equity Capital Markets, gained within a mid-tier, national or top-tier law firm
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
• Strong commercial judgement and a client-focused approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine desire to develop your career within a growing Corporate practice
