Senior Lawyer - Construction & Infrastructure Disputes | Major Projects

Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading top-tier law firm to recruit a Senior Associate to join its market-leading Construction & Infrastructure Disputes team in Brisbane.
  
This is an exceptional opportunity to work on some of Australia's largest and most complex construction, infrastructure and energy disputes, advising leading developers, contractors, government entities and major corporates on high-value litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution matters.
  
The Role
  
Working within a nationally recognised disputes practice, you will advise on a broad range of construction and project disputes, including:
  • Commercial and contractual disputes arising from major infrastructure and construction projects
  • Disputes relating to mining, transport, property development, social infrastructure and renewable energy projects
  • Domestic and international arbitration
  • Supreme Court litigation
  • Mediation, expert determination, dispute boards and other alternative dispute resolution processes
  • Strategic claims advice throughout the project delivery lifecycle
The role offers exposure to market-leading matters, collaboration with lawyers across multiple offices, and opportunities to build deep expertise in major project disputes.
  
About You
  
You will have:
  • Experience in construction and infrastructure disputes, ideally gained within a leading national or international law firm
  • Strong litigation and/or arbitration experience
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and advocacy skills
  • A commercial, solutions-focused approach
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work collaboratively within high-performing teams
  • An interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives
