About the Role
 
Our client is looking for a lawyer to join their friendly team for a short term contract role, with potential for extension.
 
Reporting to the Director of Legal, the lawyer will be a trusted legal advisor and provide high quality legal advice. You will need to be proactive, bring a can-do attitude and demonstrate a keen interest in providing practical solutions.
 
Requirements 

• Minimum 6-8 years' post admission experience gained in-house, private practice, government, or a combination.
• Experience in:
• General commercial/corporate matters
• Commercial contract drafting and negotiation
• Procurement and supplier arrangements
• Corporate governance
• Policy/procedure drafting, reviews and development
• Privacy, data governance and other regulatory compliance
• Experience in property law desirable, but not essential.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communications skills.
