We are working on an excellent 12 month contract role for a property lawyer, with experience in leasing. 
 
Our client is a global investment company that owns, develops and operates media infrastructure. Their Australian operations are experiencing growth and the legal team is expanding. They are looking for a legal counsel experienced in real estate and leasing to assist a busy team.
 
Role description

• This is a parental leave cover for 12 months, with potential to become permanent.
• You will be independently managing transactions from end to end, drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, including heads of terms, NDAs, framework agreements, licences and other real estate documents.
• Managing approvals and processes for transactions
• Advising on key legal issues and risk management 
• Exciting and fast paced environment in a collaborative and highly professional team. 

About you: 

• At least 4 - 8 years PAE
• Experience in property, leasing and retail leasing
• Knowledge of corporate law and dispute resolution/litigation highly desirable
• Ability to run matters autonomously with minimal supervision
• Strong commercial acumen 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently with internal and external stakeholders
