Our client is a very well recognised, national law firm in Australia with offices across the country. This role will see you join the firm’s busy Sydney office to work alongside a committed and genuinely supportive Workplace Relations and Safety team.

About the role

We are actively seeking a Senior Associate with expertise in workplace relations & safety law to join a well regarded Sydney specialist team.

The team provides advice to a broad range of clients, including large and small corporates, government bodies, and statutory authorities. It is an employer-focused practice representing both public and private sector employers across various industries. 

Key responsibilities

• Providing both contentious and non-contentious employment law advice to a variety of clients
• Managing and building client relationships and leading legal matters, with a focus on workplace relations, industrial relations, and safety law. 
• Contributing to the growth and development of the practice, with opportunities for career advancement based on merit

About you

You will have broad experience providing advice on employment and safety matters within an established and reputable employment law practice.

Additionally, you will have:

• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills; and,
• A genuine drive to assist in the growth of the practise
