We are representing a leading national law practice seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its growing Real Estate & Projects team in Sydney or Melbourne.
The role This role offers exposure to a sophisticated range of commercial property matters, including major acquisitions and disposals, property developments, complex leasing arrangements, project due diligence and the real estate aspects of significant infrastructure projects.
Working closely with experienced Partners, you will take ownership of matters from end to end, advise major domestic and international clients and play an active role in managing transactions and client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with specialists across construction, infrastructure, planning and environment on broader project matters.
As a senior member of the team, you will be encouraged to mentor junior lawyers, contribute to business development initiatives and build your profile in the market. The team offers strong Partner access, meaningful responsibility and a clear opportunity to continue developing towards a senior leadership role.
About You - 6+ years' post-admission experience, ideally gained within a leading private practice or sophisticated in-house legal team
- Strong commercial property experience across acquisitions, disposals, developments and leasing matters
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical legal skills, with the ability to independently manage complex matters
- Strong commercial judgement and confidence working directly with clients and key stakeholders
- An interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the broader development of the team
- Commercially minded, proactive and motivated to develop your client relationships and market profile
