Junior Lawyer - Litigation, Insolvency & Dispute Resolution | National Law Firm
We are representing a highly regarded specialist disputes practice seeking a talented junior lawyer to join its growing Sydney team.
The role
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to gain hands-on experience across complex commercial litigation, insolvency and regulatory disputes. You will work closely with experienced Partners on a broad range of matters, including commercial disputes, insolvency litigation, asset recovery, enforcement proceedings, urgent applications and cross-border matters.
You will be involved in matters from an early stage, assisting with drafting pleadings, submissions, advices and correspondence, preparing evidence and briefs to counsel, undertaking detailed legal research and supporting court proceedings and settlement processes.
The team offers a close-knit and collaborative environment where junior lawyers receive direct Partner mentoring and meaningful responsibility. You will have the opportunity to develop strong technical and strategic litigation skills while working on sophisticated matters for a diverse client base.

About You
- Approximately 2 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation, dispute resolution or a related practice area
- Excellent academic credentials and a strong technical foundation
- Exposure to commercial litigation, insolvency or regulatory matters gained within a well-regarded practice
- Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior lawyers, counsel and clients
- Commercially minded, intellectually curious and enthusiastic about developing a career in complex disputes
- Proactive, hardworking and comfortable working within a fast-paced specialist practice
